I have to say I am one of those people who see jewelry, art, crafts or something of the like and think “I can do that” instead of purchasing the item (partially due to wanting to make everything and partially due to being fund impaired 😉 ) . It is a blessing and a curse but has definitely given me appreciation for handmade items and all the work that goes into them.

Crafts, DIYIt has started again… I think its when I start to see all the pictures from Coachella on instagram and the spring/summer weather. I get out the embroidery thread and start making friendship bracelets, I just can’t help it! I didn’t even do this when I was younger but now I find myself being sucked in!
First Time Quilting
Crafts, SewingI have had a sewing machine for about 5 years now but have stuck to pretty simple (in my opinion) stuff. Lots of basic skirts for the girls and I was on a bunting kick for a while, had to have a different bunting for every occasion and even made some for friends.
Halloween Pumpkin Carving
Crafts, KiddosThis year so far has not been as eventful as last year in the Halloween department. I went a bit crazy last year and went to probably 5 pumpkin patches and had made part of the girls costumes (they were princesses, which I bought the dresses but made them fancy cloaks and tiara’s).
